The MOBIL-TIM is a compact indoor transport wheelchair designed for people who need assistance moving around the home or other indoor spaces.
At just 51 cm overall width including the wheels, it is considerably narrower than many conventional wheelchairs, making it particularly useful in homes with narrow doorways, corridors and limited space.
The wheelchair has a strong steel frame with a maximum user weight of 136 kg, while its compact 8” rear wheels and 6” front wheels allow it to be manoeuvred by an accompanying person.

Ideal for Narrow Doorways and Smaller Spaces
One of the key advantages of the MOBIL-TIM is its compact 51 cm overall width.
Standard self-propelled wheelchairs require larger rear wheels, which can considerably increase their overall width. The MOBIL-TIM uses smaller wheels and is designed to be pushed by another person, allowing the complete chair to remain much narrower.
This makes it a practical option where doorway width or space within the home is a concern.
When checking whether the wheelchair will fit through a doorway, we recommend measuring the clear opening at its narrowest point, including the door, frame and any other obstruction.
Transport Wheelchair
The MOBIL-TIM is a transport wheelchair rather than a self-propelled wheelchair.
It should be operated with the assistance of an accompanying person and is intended for indoor use. The person sitting in the wheelchair is not intended to propel the chair independently using the rear wheels.
For customers who require independent self-propulsion, one of our standard wheelchair models may be more appropriate.
