BV Medical X-Ray Detectable Sterile Laparotomy Sponges are large, highly absorbent surgical sponges used for abdominal packing, retraction and haemostasis during open laparotomy procedures. The x-ray detectable element allows post-operative radiological confirmation of complete sponge removal. Supplied as 100 sponges (20 x 5's).
