Our Story
Why Elderly Care Products exists — and who is behind it
"When our own grandparents started needing mobility aids and daily living equipment, we quickly realised how difficult it was to find quality products from a trustworthy Irish source. That was the moment we decided to do something about it."
Elderly Care Products was founded by John Hunt and Seán McElligott, two friends from Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. After watching their grandparents struggle to source reliable, well-made mobility and care products in Ireland, they identified a genuine gap in the market — and a real opportunity to help families across the country.
Today, ECP Limited operates elderlycareproducts.ie as a dedicated Irish online retailer specialising in mobility aids, continence products, daily living equipment, and home safety accessories. Every product is hand-selected for safety, ease of use, and long-term value, not just price.
We are based in Co. Limerick, serve customers nationwide, and ship from Irish and European warehouses. We believe that older adults in Ireland deserve access to quality care products with reliable support behind them — and that is exactly what we provide.

Also from Newcastle West, Seán brings operational focus and customer experience to ECP. His motivation is straightforward: to make it as easy as possible for Irish families to get the equipment their loved ones need, quickly and without hassle.
